|| _ ___ _o | | Announcements || || | | |...| |.| | | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ || Return to the first page. || | | |.o.| |.| | | Web Client || || '-' '---' '-' | | Clients || COMMAND || \| | Quickstart || colors || | | Wait, What? || colors set <type*> <color> || | | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ || colors unset <type*> || | | Races || || | | Guilds || DESCRIPTION || o| | Map || The colors command lets you display and configure the way certain || | | Lore || things (called message-types) are displayed in Nightfall. || | | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ || There are 2 basic kind of message-types: || | | Who's Online? || || | | Finger || 1) simple || | | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ || 2) groups || | | The Guide || || | | Player Help || The colors are displayed when you use no arguments. If you type || | | The Sky || 'colors help' you get a detailed information about what you can do. || | | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ || || | | Imprint || The groups work like simple types but with a small difference. || |o | || There's generally a color for the group itself and one for || |/ | || every subgroup in the group. The  channel  group for example || | | || specifies the color that messages of other players on the || | | || channels should have. || | | || You can color all your channels in cyan ("colors channels || | | || bold+cyan") which is nice but still confusing. || | | || Herefore are subgroups. If you set "colors channel.players bold+red" || | | || all messages on the players-channel will now be brightred while all || | | || other channel-messages are using the default color of the group which || | | || you set to cyan. You see that subgroups have sort of a fall-back built || | | || in. If there's no own color defined for a subgroup, the color of the || | | || group itself is used. Groups are identified by the column G and need to || o| | || have a Y(es) in that column if you type colors. || | | || || | | || GROUPS || | | || - channel || | | || - channel_self || | | || - channelname || | | || || | | || The channel-group has a subgroup for every  channel  in Nightfall. || | | || You can specify the color in which messages of other players are shown || | | || for every channel by using || | | || - channel.channelname (e.g. channel.title) || | | || If no color for a specific channel is set, the color of the group || | | || itself (channel) is used. || o| | || || | | || The channel_self-group is the same as the channel-group with the || | | || exeption that it applies to your own messages on a channel. || | | || || | | || The channelname defines in which color the channelnames should be and || | | || makes only sense if you define it for subgroups like channelname.babel || | | || || | | || - combat || | | || - combat_self || | | || || | | || The combat-group is used to specify the color in which certain combat || | | || messages are displayed. If no color is specified for a specific event, || | | || the color of the group itself is used. || | | || There are 8 subgroups for each group: || | | || - tickle || | | || - graze || |/ | || - hit || |o | || - hard || o| | || - vhard || | | || - smash || | | || - massacre || |o | || - kill || |o | || - hkill (helped killing a monster) || | | || where each subgroup should explain itself so || \| | || "colors combat.massacre bold+red" seems to be a good idea if you don't || | | || want to be surprised by a sudden decrease in hitpoints. || | | || || | | || - ls || | | || || | | || This group is only available to wizards! || |/ | || It's used to color the ls and lls command. || | | || Valid subgroups are: || | | || - dirs || | | || - files || | | || - files_<file extension> || o| | || So "colors ls.dirs bold+blue" would make all directories brightblue, || | o | || "colors files_c green" would make all .c Files green and || |/ | || "colors files_tgz red" colors all .tgz Files red. || o s| | || || o / /x| | || SEE ALSO || \/ __o/xs| | || channels || \/ \xx| | || || \ \s| | ||
